Q: When is the 2011 Dodge Challenger coming out?
Nobody seems to know. The dealers won’t tell me either.

A: My sources have shown that they are expected for release in late November. Not much has been modified from the exterior except for the ram emblem being removed and the lower front opening has been flipped for a more aggressive look.

As for engines: A more powerful 6.4 liter V8 is confirmed to replace the current 6.1 liter engine boasting a nasty 470 BHP and 470 ft-lbs of torque. A more fuel efficient & stronger V6 has been added to the base challengers and will replace the current v6 models.

I’ve also seen shaker hoods being added to the cars, but to my knowledge those were not factory additions; I would like to see them make that a factory option though.

I went to the store and saw a parked white Dodge Challenger but it wrote something like T/A… and i don’t think it means Trans Am…

some dodges have T/A …and yes…it means trans-am….way back in the 70s, there was a racing circuit called “the trans-am series”…..that’s how THAT car got its name

Q: 2011 Dodge Charger or 2011 Dodge Challenger?
Which would you buy? I usually ride alone, have no kids, and like to drive an exciting car. I would likely get the new 3.6 v6, but possibly ugrade to the HEMI if the price is reasonable.

I have narrowed it down to these two cars, so please do not recommend a Camaro, Mustang, etc.

A: The 2011 Charger is totally redone and has a million improvements. With some options you can make the V6 look just like the HEMI?
New interior, new taillights, new hood, etc. Look at the October Car & Driver. They did a cover story on it and the car sounds fantastic? PLus, you will have a back seat you can use. Unlike the challenger.

A: Camaro has better performance but disappointing safety scores.Challenger disappointing performance but it looks way better in my opinion and it has better safety features. Reliability for both vehicles have been rated 6.0. If you want better performance go with Camaro, if you want good safety too, go with Challenger. I would personally go with the Mustang instead, it has better performance than both vehicles and it is also the safest muscle car. If you want something rare,however, Challenger will do.

I have a 2010 Dodge Challenger that I bought 8 months ago. It has approx 8500 miles on it. It has minor damage from a couple people dinging it with their car doors. I am thinking about trading it in for a 2011. I am wanting the “fanatic fushia” color, but not positive. i know that is a special color, so it’ll be more but basically I want to know about how much it would cost to get a new 2011 with a 2010 trade in.

Q: What are the pros and cons on owning a dodge challenger?
OK so I plan on buying a new car next year, and i’m really leaning towards a 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T. I was wondering if anyone knows some pros and cons on having one. O i’m currently in a 2004 Dodge Neon SXT. I wont consider a new Camaro because my Fiancé’ has one and i already get to drive it lol. i like the new 2011 mustangs but they are too common in Bryant, Arkansas. If anyone has different suggestions I really want something that is powerful, around 25,000 and it cant be cheaply made like the neon i’m in now. i love my neon but it sounds like crap with a decent system in it. i want something that has plenty of trunk. anyways let me know what ya think.

A: I dont own a Challenger but I have test driven an R/T version. The Challenger had its blindspots but it was powerful. I ended up getting a Dodge Charger SXT. My Charger was around 27K (probably because it did come equipped with a spoiler and sunroof) but it was well worth it. The sound system is pretty good and some of my friends who have comparable foreign made cars, such as the ACura TL and Honda Accord, think that I have a after market sound system installed in it. The Charger is powerful (SXT puts out 250HP), stylish, and has good fuel economy. The trunk is huge enough to put a powerful system in and still have room for groceries, luggage, etc. Also its fun to see people mistake my car for a cop car and move out of my way on the roads. The only downside is that the interior in the V-6 versions are kinda bland, but other than that its a great car.I suggest you look into one!
