Q: Would you buy a 2009 Pontiac g8 gt or 2011 dodge charger?
Which would you buy I hate chargers and would pick the g8 any day plus I’m planning on buying one
A: Pontiac is better but you have to get the Charger since no one will know what a Pontiac is in a few years when you go to sell it.
Q: Should I take my chances with the 2011 dodge charger?

Also, how’s the dealership service/
A: The 2011 Charger is totally redone for 11 and should be the best ever? While Dodge in general is not known for reliability and resale value. their build quality has improved.
To compare the 2006 wi.th the 2011, there is no comparison. Look at the october or november car & driver mag. They did a cover story on the 2011 charger and it was excellent.
You will need to look at the V6 instead of the HEMI because a 16 year old with a high power, brand new car will be VERY expensive to insure. The V6 alone will still be “jaw dropping” as it is.
Q: 2011 Dodge charger any ideas?
What differences would this year charger be? I am curious i know the engines are being replaced with more power, less fuel consumption. like their Phoenix 3.6L V6s. I also think the V8s would be changed too. But would they change the body style, look ? Have any reputable sources
A: your almost asking an impossible question to answer right now, especially since the 2011 models aren’t even out,i know they are talking about making some big changes to them ,and id say the body style will be one of them,i couldn’t even find nothing on the internet about it yet, good luck.
Q: 2011 Chevrolet Impala or 2010 Dodge Charger?
Ok.. Both cars have relatively the same sticker price.. Impala 26,920 and Charger 26,195.. Both vehicles are equipped with a 3.5l engine.. Charger putting out 250hp and the Impala at 211… I really like both cars.. The Charger does have more of an aggressive look while I think the Impala looks more “executive” type if that makes sense.. Anyway.. I priced out both vehicles and like I said I can get both for around 21,000 so price wise they are both the same..
Ok. Now.. Putting aside price and all that and looking at features the Impala has a lot more.. The Impala comes with power seats, fog lights, dual zone climate control, remote start, etc etc.. The Charger is the base charger with basically no options.. Just trying to think what would be a good all around vehicle.. So what do you guys think is the better choice.. 2010 Charger 3.5 or the 2011 Impala 3.5??
Thanks for all the responses so far.. I have test driven both and both are great cars.. Again the Charger is a little more aggressive and sportier looking but I am not going for any certain look.. Just looking for a reliable car.. Also I might throw in that the impala has the front bench seat.. Now while some might say its worthless lets just say im a younger guy so having a bench seat with no obstruction between driver and passenger is always a good thing lol..
A: My impala is an 04 3.4 and I love it dude, I drive hard too, I mean I beat the hell out of it and it’s never broken down in 125k miles. the interior is way nicer than the plastic mopar and GM transmissions aren’t known to die before 80k… I’m about to upgrade and I have no doubt in my mind it’s gonna be another Impala
for me it would be NO CONTEST CHEVY WINS.
the only benefit to the Charger is Sex Appeal, it’s a more “physically attractive” car
EDIT:: I’d like to add, I hate bright lights inside my car at night, I keep the dash turned down just above off. the charger dash lights piss me off, the impala is more subtle soft blue light which I prefer.
Q: When does the 2011 charger come out?
Im doing research on the dodge charger and im looking for future research on it
A: The 2011 model year vehicles should be arriving at the dealers any time now. If they are not already there.
Q: Dodge Charger 2010…..?
I’m looking to get a Dodge Charger 2010 or 2011 if it’s out yet. Anyone own one, even an earlier year? How do you like it? Which model is the best? Would you buy it again? I bought a Saturn Vue but am not too impressed with it. If I had the choice I would not buy it again, I don’t want to make the same mistake twice. Thanks!
A: Well comparing a Vue to a Charger isn’t really a good comparison.
I didn’t really like the Charger when I was in it. It seemed short on head room to me.
Make sure you don’t get it with that anemic 2.7 V6 in it, what a joke. The 3.5 V6 is a little better, but still a slow car. If you want any kind of fun/power you’ll have to get the 5.7 Hemi or the SRT 6.1
Q: 2011 Mustang vs. 2010 Charger?
Well I want a new car, I’m thinking about the 2011 Mustang GT or the 2010 Dodge Charger SRT8. The GT has the new 5.0 DOHC V8 that puts out like 416 hp and the SRT8 has a 425 hp 6.1L SOHC HEMI. The GT is a little better gas mileage than the Charger but not my a whole lot. The GT is supposedly faster than the Charger only because of its weight advantage. I like the Charger because it is a 4 door Sedan on steroids but I like the mustang because its like $6000 cheaper depending on options.
So basically the mustang is a light weight, faster and cheaper, but the charger is more comfortable, its family and street ready. and just looks and sounds awesome. So which one would you choose????
A: obviously the charger
Q: Looking to buy a 2010 Dodge Charger SXT… Do the prices of the 10’s go down soon after New Years?
Just curious (i haven’t seen any 2011’s out by the way)
A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com
Q: What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a 2000 Ford Explorer and sometimes my mom’s 2010 Honda Accord. I want my next car to be either a 2011 Dodge Charger/Durango, Chevy Malibu, Nissa Maxima or a GMC Arcadia Denali.
What about you? What will be your next car?
Excuse me Nissan*
Wow really..Nice car.. -_- Gork I want one too..
A: I drive a 2008 Prius. I have no idea what I want my next car to be. Another hybrid for sure though.
Q: 1987 Dodge Charger 2.2L modification options?
Before Christmas I purchased an ‘87 2.2L Charger, NON-shelby model as a bit of a sping/summer project. The car runs decently, and there is nothing majorly wrong with it. (In fact inspected until April 2011). It is showing it’s age of course, and does need paint & a little bit of minor body work here and there.
My main question is, what are some suggestions for mods? I went so far as to consider swapping in a 302 and doing a rwd conversion, but I’ve decided not to cut up the car. There are fewer and fewer of these around, and I’d like to keep it true to its blood. I’ve located a Shelby version that’s just rotting away in a half-collapsed shed about 30 miles from where I live, and between me and my buddy it wouldn’t be too much to get the engine working again and try to salvage a few other bits and pieces. Any suggestions on paint colors, subtle exterior mods or even links to websites with aftermarket parts for these cars would be greatly appreciated. I’ve pretty much exhausted any I can think of, even Keystone listed nothing that was vehicle-specific.
A: I wouldn’t worry about make a GLHS clone. A good clean Dodge Charger done right will sell just as well.
Here is some links to get you started
http://www.thedodgegarage.com/ The one signal source of turbododge info. If you ever seen youtube video of a reliant destroying a supra at the dragstrip, then you will know this site’s owner knows what he is talking about.
http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/index.php? The number one forum for these cars. Plenty of info, help and parts. Ignore ad sponsored other site unless you want to buy garbage from ebay.
Q: If you could have one of the following cars, which would it be?
2011 Toyota Supra
2011 Dodge Charger
1996 Mercury Mystique
2011 Acura ZDX
2011 Honda Civic
Or a Veyron.
A: The Charger. It’s pretty
The Mystique…. hahahaha – you’re funny.
Kidding… I know it’s your car ;-]
What about this gorgeous hunk of metal????

I looooooooooooooove him… LOL
Q: im looking for a car under 15000 anywhere thats fast and nice from 2006-2011 any suggestions?
i want something nice fast and not to expensive im looking at a 2006 dodge charger R/T it has 340 HP and i like the style its 13,500
A: Whats up Kurt,
I purchased a 2007 Dodge Charger R/T about 3 months ago! Incredible power out of the blocks. I have scorched many a whip with my Charger. I would definitely get a car fax to make sure the car hasn’t been tampered with in any way. Also, if you are buying it used ask to see what the dealership or used car lot did to get it ready for sale. For example the used car manager who sold me my car said he got the car serviced at a Dodge dealership.
I asked for the address and the paperwork associated with the servicing and went down to the dealership and talked to the service manager who showed me the paperwork associated with the vehicle and referred me to the mechanic who personally serviced the vehicle. After answering my questions I had a better Idea of the car’s condition. Love the Hemi engine great power and the manual shifter allows you to get the most out of the cars engine. Hey check out the Dodge Charger Forum the link provided are the Dodge Chargers For Sale
Hope that helps
Thanks,
Chris
Q: What is you favorite next generation Police Patrol Vehicle?
Is it the:
2012 Ford Police Interceptor?
2011 Caprice PPV?
2012 Carbon Motors E7?
2010 Dodge Charger Police Package?
Personally I’m fine with all of them besides the Carbon E7,
Please do not reply with any anti-police comments.
I’d be nice if you know how to spell it correctly to.
A: 2010 Dodge Charger Police Package just because it looks mean… The E7 however is one very nasty looking beast. It is being built just for Police… I am sure that it will be one very nice patrol vehicle. Law Enforcement colleagues of mine say that the Dodge is only 6 cylinders though. They still get the job done.
Q: how are the dodge chargers holding up in law enforcement?
what are you cops going to do because there discontinuing the production of the crown vic interceptor in 2011 i guess were going to see more chargers on the roads
A: Carbon Motors is coming out with a “purpose built police car” – the E7. It needs some improvements, but I hope to see some of them.
Chevrolet is coming out with a “purpose built” Chevy Caprice police car.
I hate the Charger. They look bad-ass, but the performance lacks in my opinion.
I love the Crown Vics and will miss them, but thankfully I’m in a Tahoe now. I love that even more.
