Q: Toyota Camry 1994 Price?
Hello, im 16 and recently got my Drivers license and have been looking for a car to purchase. This is would be my first car (not looking for anything special). Someone had a Toyota Camry 1994 up for sale down the street that caught my eye. The seller wants 2750$ for the car which seems reasonable as it has 134 thousand miles. There is supposedly no problems with the automobile. Is this a price a good deal? Thanks for your response!
A: trim? I.E coupe, sedan…?
But that’s not a bad deal. Try and knock him down a bit if you can.
Q: 1998 Toyota Camry LE V6 fuel?
There is a used 1998 V6 Camry for sale. I know with the V6 the mileage is around 20-27 mpg. However, I was just wondering if it needs regular fuel or premium? I read that there was a slightly smoother ride with the premium but idk if its necessary. I mean its one thing to not have great mph as a V6 but to have to pay 30 cents extra per gallon is definitely not worth it today.
A: I drive a V6 Camry. Runs perfect on 87. Always has.
Q: How long do you think Toyota will suspend sales? Do think they will have good incentives when they come back?
I’m just curious because I’m currently in the market for a new car and Toyota Camry was on my list of possible buys, does anyone know for how long Toyota will suspend the sale of the Camry and other models? Does anyone think when and if they start selling these models they will have great incentives? And if so what types of incentives do you think they will have?
I wonder this, because if it is only going to be a few months until they start selling again, I might hold off buying if the incentive is worth it. I truly believe Toyota’s are still great cars, and they just have a problem at the moment, and by suspending sales and reproduction I can tell they are committed to fixing the problem, and by doing which they still have my trust.

A: call a dealer and ask if they have time frame on how long it wil take if you can wait a little while then it only works to your benefit as for the rebates it’s up to toyota my guess is some money off the sticker but it will differ on the model and so forth
Q: When leasing a car, how much does one usually pay for “GAP” insurance, if it not included in payment?
Thinking about leasing a Toyota Camry LE (sale price 19,200.00) for 3 years. I’m wondering what others have paid for “GAP” insurance on similarly priced, leased, autos, or on any priced autos. My auto insurance company does not provide “GAP” insurance. Hope this is clear. Thanks.
A: My car was 21,000 and I believe I paid between 700 and 1000 for gap insurance.
Q: what’s the lowest price I can get a 2010 toyota camry for?
I am shopping for either a 2010 Camry or Accord and I just hate playing games with sales people. I think I am pretty familiar with the other (additional) fees and I can work my way around them, but I just need help with the actual lowest price of the car. Thanks!!
2010 Camry, LE model
A: This site has great deals

and no messing with sales people…
Q: Will Toyota be running any special sales/promotions for the 4th of July holiday?
I am looking to purchase a 2010 Toyota Camry this weekend, but should I hold out for any upcoming 4th of July sales?
Does anyone know what the sales/promotion will be for 4th of July, if any?
A: I believe their ‘Red Tent’ event is going to be very soon. Probably sometime around July 4th.
But I wouldn’t hold your breath on any special rebates or incentives for 2010 Camrys. Toyota is still trying to clear out all of the 09 Camry inventory.
** EDIT ***
If you live in the SoCal area, I just checked and Toyota is currently running their “Thanks a million” sales event with up to $1,000 in rebates for the 2010 Camry (excluding hybrid).
Q: 98 Toyota Camry are they good vehicle?

it have 190k,miles
A: The mileage would be nice to know. In lieu of that though I will have to say yes. They are good to 250k miles on an averagely maintained car. I have seen several with well over 300k.
Q: How should I sell or get rid of my 1999 Toyota Camry?
I currently drive a 1999 Toyota Camry. I’m the only owner as well as the original owner. I have had this car since June 1999. The car currently has 137,000 miles on it. The front bumper is slightly scrapped. The back bumper has a small dent as well. The exterior of the car has no rust. It is shiny and I have waxed every 6 months since I have owned the car.
The interior of the car is excellant. The air conditioning, heating and radio all work. The drivers side seat is a power seat that still works.
The reasons I plan on getting rid of this car is because my mother is getting a new car and her car is a 2006 Mercury mountainier with 40,000 miles on it. My Camry is it has gotten older has needed many expensive reapairs such as starter motor, oxygen sensor, water pump, altinator, iddle speed control(a $500 repair) and charcoal canister(a $600 repair) and I had to fix my air conditioning this summer for $400. My mothers car has had no repairs at all. All my mom has had to do is get oil changes and new tires.
My mom is looking at a Ford Flex, Ford Edge, Mercedez Benz SUV, Lexus SUV.
One option would be to trade in my Toyota Camry where ever my mom buys her new car. The only problem is everytime I get my Toyota Camry appriased the new car dealers want to offer my next to nothing for my 1999 Toyota Camry. Some new car dealers have offered me $1,000 to trade my car in. Others have offered as little as $500 or $700 to trade my 1999 Toyota Camry in.
Junk yards in my area have offered me $2,500 to junk my car and they would pay me cash.
I have put ads on craigslist and also sings in my window that say for sale. I have asked $3,800 for my car. Even though the Toyota Camry has a good resale value many people in parking lots aroung town when they see a for sale sing on an 11 year old car they expect a good bargan. This one lady in the starbucks coffee parking lot came over to me as I walked inside my car. She said to me all she has is $1,400. Would I sell her the car for $1,400. I told her no!
What should I do?
I’m in California.
For years I have enjoyed this car because of its quiet ride, good gas milage and smooth handling.
In October 2009 I was going on a roadtrip alone. When I was 60 miles away from home I noticed the car was handling wierd and swievring. I got off the freeway and drove to a grocery store parking lot to get a soda. When I returned to my car 15 minutes later it would not start. I called triple AAA. Triple AAA could not jump start my car. They tested the battery and the battery was fine. At the time I only had triple AAA basic 7 mile towing. This happened at 11pm. Triple AAA had to tow my car. I told them to tow the car to the nearest Toyota dealership. So after my car was towed and dropped off at the Toyota dealership in the service nightdrop the tow driver drove me to a motel in the area where I spent the night.
The next morning the Toyota dealership called me and told me that they fixed my car. They told me the problem was shorted out gear shifter wires.
The gear shifter wire replacement ended up costing me $215. The dealer sent a van to pick me up at the motel where I stayed. After paying the dealer $215 I was in my car and drove away.
After this towing incident in October 2009 right away I switched to Triple AAAs platinum membership which includes one tow 200 miles or less and 3 other tows 100 miles or less.
Since October 2009 I have taken long driving trips with my car. In December 2009 I drove to San Diego which is 140 miles each way. The car made it to San Diego and back.
In January 2010 I drove to Las Vegas,NV which is 270 miles each way. The car made it there and back.
In April 2010 I drove the car again to Las Vegas and back.
In May 2010 I drove to a small town in Nothern California 380 miles each way and the car made it there and back.
The reason I replaced my charcoal canister on the car is because the check engine light has been stuck on for 2 years.
The charcoal cansiter replacement did not fix the check engine light. My check engine light is still stuck on.
In California a car with a check engine light on will not pass smog. What I did in 2009 to pass smog is took the car to a place that passes cars if you bribe them by paying them $150 cash.
In 2011 I’m probably going to go back to the same guy if I still have the car.
The Toyota dealership and several mechanics have told me that even though the check engine light is on there is nothing wrong with the car. It just wont pass smog.
Last week I went to the Toyota dealer as well as 3 independant mechanics. Everyone said if you fix the Vapor switching valve it should get the check engine light off.
I paid $300 at an independant mechanic to get the vapor switching valve fixed and the check engine light it still on.

Q: I need a special toyota camry part??? help?
I have a 1988 toyota camry, recently, the brake lights and running lights totally went out. I checked everything from the bulbs, the fuses, and i even changed that stupid brake light switch. I looked harder on the internet and found out what the real problem was, the problem is this thing called the “Tail Light Outage Sensor”, it is a small yellow box about the size of a tape measure located right underneath the antenna kind of inside the frame of the trunk. This thing is supposed to not allow both of your brake lights to go out at once, but obviously, it didn’t work. My dad is an electrician and after a few different test and confirmed that this was indeed the problem. The only problem is, I cant find a new one (or used for that matter) for sale anywhere! All of the local junkyards are sold out, and the specific toyota dealerships want over $200 for this extremely cheesy piece, and there is no way i am spending that kind of money. Does anyone know where i can get one for less? Or any fixes that work? Or does anyone have any experience on the matter? Anything would be great thanks
i have been to many of these auto parts online stores and none of them seem to have it. Unless I am calling it by the wrong name or something
A: http://car-part.com/
is the link the other guy said.
If it were mine, (or if my dad were an electrician) I would bypass, and eliminate it! If dad can verify it’s bad, he should be able to figure how to bypass it!
>>>EDIT PART<<<
What you have to do is go to the site listed, look under 1988 Toyota Camry, then “Electrical Part Misc and Wiring” to find the yards that have the electrical parts available, then call them.

A: Unless you can find an old one you will have to come up with the 200 bucks to pay the Toyota dealer. Heck, even the reputable companies like GM and Ford do the same thing so you know a second rate company like Toyota will.
Find a local junkyard that has a free “parts locater service” with this they put in the computer what they are looking for and in seconds they will have answers form all the country form junkyards that DO have it, then it can be mailed.
P.S. There is a REASON people say “Buy American” I have yet to find a part that I can’t get new from a typical parts store for my 1969 Thunderbird.

Q: What do you need to replace the Toyota Camry 2000 audio speakers?
We took the Camry to be checked at an auto dealer (not Toyota due to their costs) to see why our front speakers were not working. They told us that the front big ones still functioned, but the little ones on the door didn’t. They told us that we should keep an eye out for a sale at any store, purchase the speakers then bring it in, and that he can’t just replace the front audio system, it has to be the whole car…
I think I might bring in this car to a Toyota dealer, but first…Does anyone know what kind of speakers we need, what is a good store to look at? In fact, any information at all would be much appreciated. Thanks!
A: The front uses 6 3/4 sized speakers, and I think adapters are available to fit a 6 1/2 size speaker in there. I can’t remember whether or not the 2000 model has a separate tweeter in the pillar next to the mirrors, but the older ones do (including my ‘97 LE), so yours is probably no different. The rear should be 6×9 sized speakers. I’m assuming you just want to replace speakers and not add amps or aftermarket decks or anything like that. Rear speakers are often responsible for the low notes if you don’t have a subwoofer, so you’ll want your rear speakers to be on the stiff side. Polypropylene is the most common material used for the woofer and many companies mix it with metals like aluminum to increase overall response. Make sure it has a rubber surrond. Since your factory stereo does not provide a lot of power to the speakers, you will want speakers with really high sensitivity ratings (higher ratings mean it plays louder with the power it receives).
Q: Should I buy a 1996 Toyota Camry XLE?
Hello, i have the opportunity to purchase a 96′ Camry XLE with 53,000 miles. Its going up for sale in a couple days and i just wanted to know how much should be paid for a car like this.
Just a few notes about the car, car is in pretty good condition, its not perfect as its 14 years old but is in good condition for the age, no rust. It is a 4 cyl, has a standard audio system, has leather interior, the color is a dark red and it does have a sunroof.
I am not trilled about the 4 cyl, but is it a good car to buy and how much should i pay for it?
Thanks
A: Google Kelley Blue Book and you can get all the answers on used and new car prices.
